Holland Harper presents award to Hastings restaurant

This award honoured exceptional startup businesses who were less than two years old that have demonstrated unparalleled creativity, resilience and impact in their early stages.

The shortlisted nominees were 1066 Competitions, Naturally Crafted and Thai in Town with Thai in Town being chosen as the winner.

Roy said: “We were really pleased to be involved with these awards for the first time as a sponsor and a judge. The quality of the Best New Business applicants was high, but Thai in Town stood out due to the owner's innovation, the impact on the local community and the scale of success in such a short space of time.”

As part of their 30th Birthday Celebration the Let's Do Business Group brought back the1066 Business Awards to celebrate the inspiring businesses and entrepreneurs in Hastings and Rother - recognising their impact on our communities and local economy.

Free to enter, the 2024 1066 Business Awards included eight award categories to recognise the variety of businesses that enrich our corner of East Sussex, with the awards presentation took place over lunch on 6th June 12pm-3pm at Bannatynes Hotel, Hastings.
